Ricky Richardson’s background includes his current role as CEO of EUG Holdco, LLC, the parent and franchisor of Eggs Up Grill. Eggs Up Grill is a rapidly expanding restaurant concept in the vibrant breakfast, brunch and lunch category. Founded in 1997 the brand was acquired by investment firm WJ Partners in 2018 who recruited Richardson to lead the development and growth of the business.
Since joining Eggs Up Grill in July 2018 Richardson has energized Eggs Up Grill, defining the brand’s DNA, building the leadership team and strengthening franchisee relationships while delivering accelerated growth of new franchisees, new restaurant openings and same store sales. Eggs Up Grill has grown AUV’s over 40% since Richardson’s arrival, while more than tripling the restaurant count. Now at 80 locations operating across the US, Eggs Up Grill will close out 2024 with nearly 100 locations in operation and 80+ commitments for future development.

Prior to joining Eggs Up Grill Ricky spent over 20 years with TGI Fridays, a global leader in casual dining, holding a range of US and International executive roles, lastly serving as President/ COO Fridays USA from 2013 – 2016. As part of his commitment to his community, Richardson serves as Vice Chair of Habitat for Humanity, Spartanburg, SC, who’s mission is to “help families spark generational change through affordable home ownership while transforming communities”.
